Apply to become a speaker

Dear colleagues,

thank you for applying to become speakers of the Forum this year (at TFR 2019)! We are happy to welcome your intention to share your experience, thoughts and new ideas with the audience of Translation Forum Russia!

Terms of participation

By applying to become a speaker, you agree to the following:

Speaker selection process

All applications are reviewed by the program committee. You will be informed about their decision via e-mail.
During selection process, the following is taken into consideration:

    • topic of presentation (importance and relevance for TFR participants)
    • speaker’s background (professional experience etc.
    • neutral content of presentation (no advertisements etc.)

Participation fee

Participation fee for TFR speakers is 7,900 rubles. Fee must be paid in full before June, 20. In case speaker informs that he or she is unable to take part in TFR after clearing payment, money will be refunded according to general rules.


Speaker presents his or her speech according to the application and synopsis stated there. If the speaker cannot participate in the Forum due to illness, he or she must immediately notify organizers via e-mail:

Personal account

After your presentation is included into the Forum program, you must fill in your profile by stating the topic, introducing yourself and uploading your photo. You will be able to log in with the e-mail address you’ve used in your application. You will also receive your password by e-mail. All web site users will be able to see the information in your profile.


Presentation or text shall be provided to prior to June, 20 (finalization before conference is possible) at: Final version of the presentation shall be saved in electronic format and available during the Forum and for further publication at the website.

TFR organizers have the right to store your presentation on DVD, memory sticks etc. and Internet publication with indication of the author’s name.

Photo and video

TFR organizers have the right to perform photo and video coverage of the event and use all photo and video material afterwards how they see fit.

Unforeseen circumstances

During presentation, some unforeseen equipment errors may occur resulting in cutting performance time or change in order of performances.
